Building Maintenance: Regent Street, Chippendale, Sydney
This residential building’s facade was a mess. Safetek was contracted to remove the hard shell extruded foam ledges from the building’ roof edge as well as lower levels via abseiling. These have been severely damaged by cockatoos and presented a hazard for the pedestrians below.
Once removed, we have sealed the walls with polyurethane sealant, primed and painted with two coats of waterproof membrane and colour matched the original paint. We had to install SRA swivel rope access anchor points and use OZ Pod as there was nothing to rig off.
